If you don´t have the phenomenon called Facebook, then does you really exist out there on the thing called WWW?? (or maybe MySpace or another networking place). I have friends I never talk to and doesn´t even notice anymore because they are not on my ”wall” or in the newsfeed. If they are, then I can connect to them so much easier.
I once worked at a high school as a teacher. My students were 17-18 years old. And now, a couple of years later I meet some of them at the nightclubs almost every weekend. And they added me as their friend on Facebook. That´s okay with me, but I don´t think I would have the same reaction if they still where my students…and I don´t think my students would want me to see what they are up to on their spare time…
Nowadays people say and do anything on their blogs and Facebook profiles. I think it´s great, but when will this fad to be over? maybe never… and I´m amazed by all these people spending hours and hours out there doing…well…whatever! Doesn´t people have jobs, girlfriends or maybe a dog to spend their time on? Obviously SOMEBODY put all of these movies on YouTube
It´s not me though, and not anyone I know, I think, well maybe my freaky longhaired neighbor who always has the blinds down
What I do know, is that I will keep enjoying all of these people on my wall writing that “tomorrow I´m going to Ullared” until nobody else does. I´m just cattle, moving in the same direction as my fellow cowfriends.
